Double cluster
Jan 20, 2023
The open star clusters NGC869 and NGC884, form the famous Double Cluster in Perseus. I would nearly put this into the "failed" category as I captured this object when I was one month into astrophotography. I had no autoguiding/Polar allignment. I stacked images of 30sec exposure with ISO800. Star trails form due to lack of PA.
Exposure: lost record but not long
Camera: modified Nikon D5100
Size: 40x18 arcmin^2
