Phantom Galaxy

Oct 22, 2024

Starless:

Messier 74 (also known as NGC 628 and Phantom Galaxy) is a large spiral galaxy in the equatorial constellation Pisces. It is about 32 million light-years away from Earth.

It's called the Phantom because the galaxy's surface brightness is low. It's the most difficult to find of all the Messier objects that amateur astronomers observe in small telerscopes.

It is captured in my birthday, Hurray! Special mention to Ms Jonhson for her lovely smores.
