The Rosette nebula is a large emission nebula in the constellation Monoceros, that resembles a rose. The open cluster also has their own NGC catalogue number.


Exposure time: a little more than 180 minutes

Camera: ASI ZWO585

Size: 80x60 arcmin²

This was taken in Hong Kong, during my christmas holiday. Weather hasn't been great, so I haven't updated in a while :(

This is a "mosaic" meaning I stitched two smaller images together to produce this final image, making the resolution better.
